1964 BSA A65 Lighting Clubman Replica, 300km since rebuild, Absolutely Stunning!

This listing is for a gorgeous 1964 BSA Lighting Clubman Replica.

Vagn built this bike himself in around 2000 for the man who had it until he passed a few years ago.  We have bought the bike back from his sons.

In the last 15 or so years that he owned the bike. he has put less than 300km on it.

Please take a good look at the pictures as they will tell most of the story.

This bike is a replica of the BSA factory racer.  From an authority on the subject:

"The LC was produced in small batches through out 1965 and a very small number of them were made in January /February 1966.

The total made was 287. nearly all were sent to dealers in the UK but some made it to Sweden Italy and 1 went to Mexico and 1 even to Uganda ?? (amazing eh. )

You see some advertised in the USA but unless it is that mexican one you can bet it is a 1969 Lightning with an LC date code - C being 1969. "

The bike is perfect.

Paint is perfect.

Chrome is perfect.

Alloy is perfect.

This is not an every day replica/restoration.  I would say it is for serious collectors only!

This bike needs nothing except a good home and a loving family.

It is your responsibility to arrange pickup and delivery of the bike.   We recommend www. chasmortimer. co. uk for shipment within Europe.  To the U. K. is usually ~?400.  In certain circumstances you can contact us about crating the bike for shipment outside of Europe.

VAT is paid for within the EU and you will have no problems with registration.   If you reside outside the EU please check with your customs office concerning VAT and other fees or taxes.

Payment for bikes is by bank transfer only. and we expect you to pay as soon as possible.   (Cash in DKK is the exception)
