1946 348cc AJS 16M

A lovely old 1946 348cc AJS 16M Garage find. perfect for an easy restoration project or ride as is. A very honest old girl crying out for some Tlc. I was going to list it as a none runner as I didn't give the Mag a hope but after a bit of a clean up and some new fuel in the tank she spluttered into life and and ran. I didn't keep the her running for long as I didn't want to do any damage to the engine if the oil wasn't getting round. Complete with both front and rear stands and prop stand. Tyres do not hold air for long which isn't a surprise and as you can see the Tank has the Matchless M on it but I believe the AJS and the Matchless bikes were much the same. just Badge engineered by the AMC factory. From what I can see. the only negative points are the missing pillion rest and no paperwork or doc's to go with it. I haven't tried to trace the number through the DVLA or the owners clubs so I don't know if the number is retrievable. Any questions please ask. Bought as seen. Thank you.
