Description

A lot to read - but well worth it:You are getting a lot for the Money! This is a vintage - original BSA C11G - in unmoleste & original condition - Very important - !!! This is a matching nr. s bike!!! The bike was sold NEW in 1954 in Amsterdam - Netherlands the front fender still shows the selling dealers plaque from 1954. This is a ONE OWNER Motorcycle that has always been taken care for. and I did get all the original Paperwork plus both factory keys. made by LUCAS!! I have the original Registration from June 18th. 1954 - it was in use until I purchased it last year in Amsterdam -I also do have the current registration till November 2nd. 2014!! What's truly amazing is that the bike. through out it's entire life. had the same Tag Nr. . see pictures - you'll se it continuesly on every document. The Tag Nr. was - PU-37-09 - You get all of it - The bike is 60 years old - born in the 50's when people like Marlon Brando showed off rides just like this one. The Bike is not perfect but it would not take much to make into a show winner. Like every good old british bike this BSA leaks some Oil. not much but it does. a spring is missing from the kick starter. a nut is missing underneath the seat and the carborator cap get's loose at times. All easy fixes. nothing major I just always try to be as accurate in my description as possible. The bike runs great and it sound fantastic with a deep rumble. I did put these minor things into consideration pricing the bike. at the same time I want to point out that the Ownership - the History and the Provenance that comes with the bike is actually priceless. If interested I can send you a Video. you'll see and hear the engine run. Front and tail lights are working as well and I just installed a brand New batterie. You'll see 2 pictures showing the arrival and the unloading at the Port of Bremerhaven / Germany - took one month for the container to get to Miami. The BSA C11 is very well known in the US due to the fact that Steve Mc Queen owned one during his lifetime. See picture. The bike is sold with a bill of sale - this way. in case you want to register the bike. you could do so at your local DMV. There is no title for the bike I just had to enter title information in order to list it. The pictures you can not zoom where taken in Germany and the once that you can zoom where taken in the US. Please enjoy the pictures and Thank you for looking. Any questions or need more pictures you can call me direct - Peter 954-254-1089. I will work with your shipper and pick up in person is always very welcome.
