Bsa A7SS 1960

Selling on behalf of a customer. I have looked after this bike since 2003. I am only person to have ridden this for last 12 years and maintain it at my workshop in Kent. Was purchased in 1995 by my customer for his wife ( he has another one. er bike not wife ) with the idea of riding out together ( but they never did ) so I recommissioned it after an 8 year layup and I continued to service. MOT it & ride it along side his other one every year up to last year. It still has not been ridden and the owner has come to conclusion it never will be. !960 A7SS not mint. not concourse but extremely lovely to look at and sounds great and all goes and stops well. It does not leak oil anywhere. Had new silencers fitted. batteries. et sump valve. yres oil etc over the 12 years of invoices from me and most MOTs going back to 1990. Did its usual when I picked up bike. it started 2nd kick after 8 month sleep. It's still on 6 volts most of it is original it was restored prior to purchase. ut have no bills to prove. The engine numbers need sorting out on V5C as had dyslexic person at DVLA and has SS down as 55. !! Easily sorted. This bike has covered only 490 miles since 1990 MOT and I have done most of them.  Chrome on tank is original and has fairly large 1" blemish on left side. rims not brilliant but not horribleI shall ride it home from w/shop to give it another few miles and to upload decent pictures. the batteries failed after 4th pic. Has its original reg no. and has dealer supplied plate on rear guard. Has reasonable reserve price on it.  Payment in cash please. collection only or arrange courier yourself to collect. FOR SOME REASON I MUST HAVE HIT THE WRONG DROP DOWN BOX ON LISTING. THIS IS HAS NOT GOT AN ELECTRIC START FITTED IT IS NORMAL KICK START.

Just ridden bike home from w / shop and had to cut thru a lot of town traffic nice light clutch. brakes are fine had short burst up 70 on dual carriageway before i hit town. t restarted 2nd kick when hot after run.

Rode it home today nice light clutch whizzed it up to 70 coped fine when in town with traffic restarted 2nd kick when hot.
