BSA A10 650 GoldFlash Barn Find Projet V5 1959

For  sale  time warp BSA A10 Gold Flash 1959 650cc which has been in storage for over 30 years. The bike needs a complete restoration or could be left as is and put back in storage for another 30 years your choice. All chrome and paint  will need re-doing  All cables are seized and both chains have been binned as have the rubber bar grips. But if you wanted to restore one of these bikes then all the hard to find expensive bits are with it.

This bike is as near complete bike as any you will find.

The engine has been removed and the bike loosely assembled for the photos.

The engine turns over and has no fin damage with all splines and primary sprockets in perfect condition.

The gearbox turns freely with both kick start and gear change still connected and a mint final drive sprocket it even still has the speedo cable.

The clutch is in bits but appears complete showing no signs of wear

Both wheels are solid. turn freely with brakes intact but will need re chroming etc

Both mud guards are solid as is the seat base but the foam and cover are long gone.

Oil tank and tool box are solid with no dents. The toolbox can only be described as new inside and is complete with the regulator. ;

The chain guard is present but has some rot (easy repair)

The frame is covered in light rust but will rub off with a wire brush and the centre stand is present and working freely.

The Tank has no dents and is rust free inside it also carries the original BSA badges. knee rubbers and taps.

Now for the best bits.

All the parts that are normally not sold with bikes like this are included.

The original smiths speedo showing only 2800 miles. yes you read that correctly and the last MOT shows the bike at only 1720 miles so I believe the mileage to be correct.

The original light switch. nbsp;ammeter. brake and handlebar switch are all there.

The old V5  MOT and Reg number are  with the bike so it should no problem getting a new log book.
