I have a transferable reg for this vehicle Up for sale is my beautiful 1972 Norton Commando cafe racer. this is a high performance COMBAT model with higher compression heads. The VIN numbers on the engine and frame are matching. see pictures 19 and 20 This bike has been treated to a Cafe racer conversion. but the frame has not been cut or modified at all. The bike could be returned back to stock if desired. This bike has been well maintained and ridden regularly. it starts easily. Rides nicely and has been treated to the best of everything. It has been completely and mechanically upgraded and needs nothing. The electrical system has been completely rewired with all new components and solid state Boyer electronic ignition. computer. there are NO OLD ELECTRICAL parts anywhere on this bike. The Zener has been eliminated see a video of cold start at: https://youtu. be/PCfPPx0gK38 Complete electrical overhaul including wiring Complete tune up. valves. fluids. etc Ohlins piggyback rear shocks Rebuilt front forks Brembo polished front brake set up Corbin cafe racer seat with soft passenger section (looks like solo seat. very nice) New Fibreglass Manx tank (inside coated to be gas and ethanol resistant) had it over 2 years with no issues Lemans style fuel cap New Chrome Headlight shell Polished billet Z plates Braided oil hoses Braided Rocker lines New Brake lever and perch Thomaselli headlight brackets New cat eye tail light John player front fender New Carbs and cables and hoses New petcocks New air filter New Battery New heavy duty center stand New coils and wires Pipe wrapped headers Polished Smiths gauges/instruments IMPORTANT: Please note. the paint is good. but not perfect. there are some areas of imperfection on the tank please see pictures number 22. 3 I also have been careful to not spill fuel on the tank. i would advise the same As with many Nortons. the clutch plates stick when this bike sits. just pull in the clutch. put it in second. rock it a few times and it frees up and works perfectly There is a hairline crack in the primary chain case. it is just in front of the brake pedal and below the inspection hole. This happened many years before i got the bike. it has never been an issue. please see picture number : 15 There is some oxidation on a few areas of the wheel rims which maybe can be removed if you are gentle. see pic 21 The kick starter hits the right pipe and has taken some paint off please note. this is a true cafe racer. it has no turn signals. horn or mirrors. just a headlight and tail light Yes. it is a real Brit bike and drips some fluid accordingly. not much though. less than the size of a dime. I welcome inspections in person and a test ride with money in my hand. this is a Brit bike and shifts on the right side. GP style.
