1966 BSA A65T Thunderbolt 650 - Nice bike, runs good, clear title

Up for grabs. Nice condition 1966 BSA Thunderbolt 650. single carb twin. Bike is in good overall condition. just serviced (valves checked. timing checked. new tires. new footrest rubbers. fresh fluids. etc). Bike has been fitted with a Pazon electronic ignition system. Carb appears to be original to the bike. Rims appear original (front is a Jones. rear is a Dunlop). No smoke. no knocks. a pretty honest machine that starts with one kick and cruises comfortably at 60 mph. Tank is clean inside. chrome on the outside shows some crazing but it isn't peeling or pitted. Oil return to tank is strong. no leaks to speak of. All lights and horn work. Front brake is pretty lame but works with firm pressure. rear brake is good but a little squeaky. could maybe use a good cleaning. The speedometer has been rebuilt - original miles were just over 11. 00 - this is probably accurate considering the condition of the bike. We don't have any maintenance history other that what we've done here in the shop. Mileage may vary slightly as I may ride this a few more times to run errands on - it's grown on me a little :) Because this is ebay: With any old bike. these things weren't exactly cutting edge in when they were new. so. if you plan on bidding. do a little research. Don't expect a Hayabusa. don't expect it to start itself. your garage will have a few oil spots (if not now. probably eventually). you may need a workshop manual and some special tools. and you'll always smell like raw gasoline after riding this. It's what makes it what it is. If you're not comfortable buying or owning a high-maintenance bike. please don't make us talk you into it.
