CCM 500 MX 1977 British Motocross Factory BSA Rare Vintage Works

1977 CCM 498cc 2 valve 4 speed. In absolutely race ready condition. Newly rebuilt Works Performance shocks new Rex Caunt prototype electronic ignition wheels trued new rims and new spokes where needed new Dunlop MX tires new top end (either standard bore or first over--I can't recall) new correct Amal square body carb new correct Amal control lever set new filters new fenders all new cables etc. This bike has been completely gone thru and what was wrong has been sorted out--also replaced damaged inner clutch bearing new clutch plates replaced frozen swing arm bolt new fork seals new brakes where needed etc. CCM weighed in at 226 pounds with a half tank of gas--unbelievably light! Bike would be easy to make into a show bike if that is what you are after that is not what I wanted. Unfortunately I was injured before I could vintage race this. It has two laps of practice since the rebuild very fast and great handling as you would expect. Has been sitting in my garage ever since those two laps that's it. I would love to see this back out on the track that will be up to the new owner.Do not bid unless you have a positive rating of at least 5 with no negative feedback.
