CCM 500 MX 1977 British Motocross Factory BSA Rare Vintage Works NO RESERVE!

No Reserve--highest paying bidder will win this rare 1977 CCM 498cc 2 valve, speed. In absolutely race ready condition. Newly rebuilt Works Performance shocks, ew Rex Caunt prototype electronic ignition, heels trued, ew spokes where needed, ew Dunlop MX tires, ew top end (either standard bore or first over--I can't recall), ew correct Amal square body carb, ew correct Amal control lever set, ew filters, ew fenders, ll new cables, tc. This bike has been completely gone thru and what was wrong has been sorted out. Also replaced damaged inner clutch bearing, ew clutch plates, eplaced frozen swing arm bolt, ew fork seals, ew brakes where needed, tc. CCM weighed in at 224 pounds with a half tank of gas--unbelievably light! It would be easy to make this CCM into a stunning show bike if that is what you are after, hat is not what I wanted. Unfortunately I was injured before I could vintage race this. It has two laps of practice since the complete rebuild, nd is very fast and great handling as you would expect. Has been sitting in my garage ever since those two laps, nd that's it. I would love to see this back out on the track as was my goal, hat will be up to the new owner.
