In from a barn in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont is a somewhat rare World War II era BSA side valve single. This machine comes to us from a fellow. now 57. who has owned the bike since he was 16 and last rode it when he was 18. The motor turns over and. as you can see. it is largely all there. However. make no mistake. this is a restoration project. We are helping the owner sell on consignment.
From our research. it is a late 1941 unit. The pictures more or less tell the story. We have set the reserve at a number consistent with the various buyer?ˆ™s guides. completed eBay listings and some discussions with BSA enthusiasts.

We think it is the type of bike that should not be fully restored. but done in a period patina ?ˆ“ clean it up and get it running properly and turn some heads.
