Condition and Overview

This 1972 BSA Lightning 650 was the last year of the model for the 650. This bike came to us in running condition with reasonably low mileage. We took the wheels off and laced a new set of British style chrome wheels with new spokes. The hubs were cleaned and painted, new exhaust was installed and the front forks were serviced. Next, e sorted the electrics and got everything in working order. We then installed a new set of Amal carbs and tuned the bike. Finally, ew tires and tubes were installed and the wheels were balanced.

All lights and electronics work perfectly. There are no blinkers or mirrors installed. You may need to add these back to the bike in order to pass vehicle inspection in your State. There is not a bit of grease or dirt on this bike anywhere as it was given a very thorough detailing, ven in the places you can't see.
