1980 Yamaha 650 XS

1980 Yamaha 650 Special with 3811 original miles.

I bought this motorcycle last year and brought it home with the intentions of slowly restoringit over the winter, ut no longer have the available time to do so.Everything on the motorcycle operates as it should with the exception of the front brake.I'm certain it's nothing more than a stuck caliper from lack of use, o it should be an easy fix. The headlight works both high & low beams, urn indicators, rake light and horn. The bike started surprisingly easy after sitting for so long. It's a very strong running motorcycle for it's displacement and it looks, eels, nd soundsvery similar toa BSA/Triumph.

It has the expected aluminum corrosion, ents, cratches, tiffness and light surface rust. Its been primarily the victim of long term storage and obviously requires attention. The motorcycle can be driven as is, ut besides a tune up, 'd think about replacing the original tires before doing any high speed operating.

Comes with a shop manual and a clear Indiana state title.
