Description
Mostly complete bike needing restoration. The D13s were a short production run in ’68, nd production was ceased after some 600 units because management decided the number 13 might be unlucky to some buyers, nd they were afraid of lost sales resulting from superstition. It is possible this is the only D13 in the US, s none were reportedly exported.
The engine turns over, ut I have not had it running. I am not familiar with these particular bikes, o please review photos and ask questions. I know it is missing the headlamp, aillamp, hain, hoke and clutch cables, nd some fasteners, here may be other things I am overlooking. The seat cover appears to be a newer replacement. The tank will need to be cleaned and lined.
There is no paperwork for this bike, nd I will provide a written receipt. I had to list something, o I listed salvage, ut there is no title.
It is for local pickup, nd I will not arrange for shipping but if you are interested in arranging your own shipment of the bike, am willing to cooperate with the shipping company to ensure the expeditious delivery of the bike.
There you have it. A very rare version of the more refined later Bantams, eady for a new owner and a new lease on life.
