This is a very nice 1970 BSA Victor 441. It is a matching numbers bike with a clear Tn title in my name. There are a lot of original parts on the bike with some cosmetic and mechanical restoration. Heres what I know is not original. The gas tank has fresh paint with hand laid pinstripes. The decals have not been cleared in and can be changed easily if they become damaged in the future. The seat cover has been replaced at some point. The muffler is a new piece and the header pipe is a NOS pipe. Im not sure if it is BSA or old aftermarket. The carb is a new Amal 930 and theres a Pazon ignition installed. Those are the things I know for sure are not original. The bottom end of the motor was supposedly gone through prior to me owning it and by all indications its true. I cannot verify this for sure. I replaced the top end, ranmission bearings, lutch plates, nd a few other bits Im sure Im forgetting. The top end machining was done by E&V engineering with a new +040 piston, ew valves, ew guides, nd the anything else Ed thought it needed. The bike starts fairly easily for a victor. The top end has less than 100 miles on it and still needs to be broken in. The chrome on the bike shows its age in some spots and really looks fantastic in others. There is pitting and dull spots here and there. It would be a good candidate for a fairly easy complete restoration as the expensive motor and paint work has been done. Ive tried to take plenty of pictures to show the condition of the bike accurately.
This seems to be a very good bike with a lot of potential for restoration or just ride it as it is and have fun. That being said it is a 47 year old bike and comes with no guarantees/ warranties expressed or implied. A local inspection is welcomed and recommended prior to bidding. Payment is due via cashiers check, ank wire, r cash in person. All funds must clear my bank before the bike or title will be released. The bike must be paid for in full within 5 days of the acutions end and a $500 non refundable deposit is due within 12 hours. Arrangement for the remainder need to be handled within the 12 hours as well. The bike must be picked up within 3 weeks of auctions end or storage fees will apply . The title is a clear TN title in my name so overseas buyers and shipping are welcomed but please contact me first. Ive tried to take plenty of pictures to show the true condition of the bike. Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding.
