This is a great survivor bike, arly S7 VIN 868. Matching Frame, ngine, rans and rear gear. The bike runs excellent, drove it from Pennsylvania to Florida this last summer. I took off the saddle bags and rear rack to put on a pylon so my wife could ride with me. I have rebuilt the Carb, ut a new wiring harness front to back, ew distributor (original comes with bike) and new rubber. I put on an original air cleaner, nbsp;spark plug cover and tool box. The bike came with a 48 Harley taillight, ther than that it looks totally original.
If you know Sunbeams you will know this bike, t is extremely rare. Early S7s are very hard to find especially here in the states. This one has all the patina you want in an old bike. Mechanically it runs fantastic, tarts easily and idles smooth. I have a video of a cold kick start on youtube.go to YouTube and search "1948 sunbeam S7"
