MOT and tax exempt. I have owned this bike for the last 3 and a half years and have spent much money and time on it. The age has been verified by VMMC as 1956 but has had the engine changed. to which I believe to be an upgraded shooting star with aluminium head which has had recent new valves. valve guides and new stellite seats which is now good for unleaded petrol. Other work done :All engine threads and studs repaired or replaced where necessary. The amal carb has been rebuilt by a specialist. Clutch refurbished. Gearbox gaskets + bearings and bits and pieces. Fork seals. Solid state rectifier inside lucas housing. Clutch springs. Magnito cam ring. brush mag pickups and much more. Starts. runs and rides well.
