1967 BSA 650cc dual carb like the Lighting model. Completely restored in 2006

I bought this bike in a swap-meet in 2004. It was an A-50 Royal Star. 500cc single carb with matching numbers. The motor did not turn. I restored completely to factory specs. all genuine parts. won a prize in the 2006 show at El Camino College. I rode it for about 2000 miles and was not happy with the power. so I decided to convert it to a 650cc dual carb. I bough the crank and barrels used. balanced the crank and cut the barrels to . 020"Fitted new pistons and rings. the rods are the same. Fitted two Amal carburetors. left and right like original. a rebuilt RPM gauge. It also has electronic Boyensen ignition and coils. a Shorai battery. modified crank ventilation system so it does not leak oil and vents properly. an oil filter. Front brakes are Triumph double leading shoes. Brakes very well. Right now it shows 5200 miles. very powerfull. dependable and sounds good. I get nothing but compliments everywhere I go (Rock Store and such). I am selling it because I got 10 bikes and am running out of space in my garage for new projects. I have all the documentation of every part bought. title is clear and tags are paid for almost a year. There is a dent in the left pipe. caused by the center stand dragging in the asphalt. so I cut the ear off. I also modified a bit the side stand so the bike stands straight more. so to set the side stand you have to reach with your hand under the bike. I have an original one if this is what you want. I can also weld back the ear in the center stand. The bike is in very good condition. it was always covered and garaged. both. Always run on synthetic oil. Amsoil SAE 60 just changed. and has new Avon tires. Pick it up in person. or I will ship it anywhere if buyer arranges and pays for the cost. I can store it for up to 6 weeks at no charge. Can deliver within 100 miles after it is paid for.
