1960 BSA C15 250cc Single. V5C. Runner Ride/Restore. Barn Find Classic Project.

For auction here is a fairly original BSA C15 from 1960. The bike has a current V5C present and is on an age related none transferable registration number. Its classed as historic so is tax free. The bike its self is pretty scruffy but complete. It starts and runs OK with no undue noise or smoke from the engine. The lights work. but its not charging. It does ride around OK also indicating the gears and clutch all seem to function. The bike looks not to have been restored and cosmetically its a bit shabby. so this is ideal as a project. The tyres look like they have been on for a little while. so it probably needs tyres as a minimum. I. selling this as a rolling project without a reserve. Anyone is welcome to come and look at it if you feel the need. the benefit of which is that you will be able to hear it run. This is an ideal project as most of what you need is there and the engine seems basically OK. I have not investigated why it isn. charging at all. I just haven. had time. so it might be something pretty simple. The bike seems basically sound and original and just needs cosmetic work I believe.
