This rare old British classic 1969 BSA B25S 250 Starfire has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life ?ˆ“ the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 12838 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you may or may not know ?ˆ“ Here at DK Motorcycles we have very limited knowledge or experience with these classic British bikes but as you can see this bike is pretty much complete but what is original ?ˆ“ rite or wrong we can't comment. The bike has obviously stood a while so the tyres are perished & paint is flat. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS. The bike is every bit as solid as it looks here. The wheels are clean with nicechrome rims. good hubs & brake plates. Forks & yokes look straight. Mudguards are both solid & very tidy. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments & switches look great. Fuel tank. side panel & oil tank are faded but solid & clean enough inside. Carburetor is free sliding off the twist grip. Exhaust system is solid. Seat base is in very good condition throughout. Chain guard is tidy. The engine is cosmetically very clean. it turns over nicely off the kick starter ?ˆ“ sounds/feels great & has compression but we haven't run it up. If you require any further information please give us a call or better still visit our showroom and have a good look over the bike for yourself ?ˆ“ after all who are you going to believe me or your own eyes?
