1969 BSA LIGHTNING

1969 BSA Lightning with matching numbers and a clear Texas title. This bike starts and runs but needs work. It has incorrect throttle cables. Should be considered as a rolling and running restoration project. someone previously attempted to ?ˆ?restore?ˆ? by steel wooing the chrome away and painting the cases and some hardware. Has what look like a fairly new set of Amal concentric carburetors. The chrome is coming off the front rim. the rear looks okay. There is a cream liner inside the gas tank. No broken fins on the motor. Fairly complete motorcycle project that comes with a small box of additional parts. It is missing the speedometer. Tachometer included. but it most likely needs to be rebuilt. Great first timer restoration candidate. Please call or message us with any questions you have about this motorcycle. There are some small chips on the cylinder fins. Sorry for overlooking that. None of the fins are what I would consider "broken". but they are chipped.
