For auction is a 1957 BSA C12 which is a 250cc overhead valve singe. This bike has a V5C present and is on an age related none transferable registration. The bike is very very scruffy but is pretty complete and does run well. The engine sounds fine without any undue noise. It was a bit smoky. but I put that down to being sumped and it did clear after a little while. The lights work and I think its even charging. The bike rides around OK. so clutch and gears work. Its very very scruffy. but is basically sound with original tinware that would all clean up and looks to have nicely painted rims and so on. I think that this has been kept as a low cost no frills working bike and has never gone through one of these magic "restorations" that I have seen so often these days. That said this bike is prefect for a make over cosmetically. but seems pretty good mechanically. That said the speedo doesn. work so will probably need a refurb. Viewing is welcome. 01246 411977 for an appointment. Collection is preferred although I can arrange for delivery within the mainland UK by courier for £100. Finally. if you bid you buy. no tyre kicking excitement afterwards.
