1968 BSA A-65 650 Lightning

Up for auction is my 1968 BSA A-65 Lightning 650 motorcycle. I am the third owner . I bought the bike in May 1979. I have put 90% of the miles on the bike. I lost the bike in a divorace and it was kept in a shed for the last 25 years until I just got it back this past June. I don't have the time or energy to put it back to the way it needs and deserves to be. - this bike needs a lot of love - but it is all original and all there. I have the carbs - I took off to rebuild  - mufflers are off but they are shot - Fuel tank is clean on the inside - as you can see there is rust all over but nothing that cant be cleaned and painted or re-chromedEverything is there - motor turns over - we put a battery on her and shot some spray in the cylinders - she fired for a brief moment so that tells me all is good. The bike ran flawless when parked - I rode it everywhere. This bike needs a good home and some one to show it some love! We can assist with loading of bike - if you are close with in 100 or so miles we can deliver for a milage charge and maybe enough for a bbq samich!The bike is located in Mt Airy MD 21771 - it is approx 3 miles off of interstate 70 -
