bsa bantam 1961 d7 restoration project

i bought this little bantam in 2010. used it a few times till the mot ran out then parked it in the garage. my young grandson loved riding on the back of it and still starts it up occasionally which it does after a few kicks no matter how long its been left. paintwork needs touching up or re-doing and chrome on exhaust isn't good with the usual kickstart scrape.  wheels are pitted but they are solid and tyres are good. forks will need rebuilding and there is a tear and a crack on seat cover. will need a new battery too. this little bike happily pulled me and my grandson around with no jumping out of gear. stalling or seizing so engine unit is good. mostly cosmetic which makes it a good winter project. older people love these iconic little Brit bikes as most of them had one at some time. always a talking point and an investment. complete with v5. non transferable number. any questions. please ask. cash on collection within a week unless otherwise arranged with me. thanks
