This is a good BSA 650 Firebird scrambler it is titled as a 1968 but it is newer than that. I am assuming that it is something that was pieced together. It has a good Iowa title. I obtained the motorcycle at the annual Davenport Iowa vintage swap meet. Since owning the motorcycle I have repaired the fiberglass tank. painted it (it DOES NOT leak). installed the street tracker bits. installed 2 new Dunlop K70 tires. a new Barnett clutch fibers/steels and cleaned the carbs and put in new spark plugs. It runs good and shifts good. I know it's not a museum piece and never will be. This motorcycle is a fun Sunday afternoon ride. It draws a lot of attention and it could easily satisfy that vintage BSA craving! It has a new small aftermarket speedometer (cable needed) so mileage is unkown.
