BSA BANTAM 175 TRIALS TWIN SHOCK SPECIAL

Just in from a chap who has been building this trials bike for a while but he now is not in a position to finish it and so here is an opportunity for someone to continue the project. He has researched the numbers and believes the engine to be early 60's D7 and the frame to be 1971 D14. He has got the forms from DVLA to apply for a registration number if required. The frame has been modified to give massive ground clearance and has been fitted with what he thinks are forks from a Barracuda and he has also fitted the swept back top handlebar yolk. The foot pegs are adjustable so they can be lowered for road use or higher for off road. It has a wide bore exhaust. Alloy mud guards. single seat and a nice chrome tank. it has a couple of dents but these just give it character!He has inspected the engine and all appeared fine but he put some new rings in it for good measure. Good compression. Thats as far as he has got. he never got around to fitting cables and brake pedal and getting it running so the rest is up to you!Come and have a look with pleasure. I don't work on them to prepare them for retail sale and use. basically i just don't have the time and you buy them as they are. described to the best of my ability. and you are welcome to bring a mechanic to check over and that is the reason i can sell them at such bargain prices. As you would expect with used machines. nbsp;unless i can prove with appropriate paperwork. i never guarantee mileages.
