1971 BSA B25SS, 1236 original miles, great condition

 This was the last year that BSA made 250cc singles.   It can be argued that this was the best 250cc they had ever made.   It's engine was made with a stronger lower end (crank shaft fully supported by bearings and not bushings).   The bike also had a cartridge filter for keeping the oil clean and this was their oil in the frame dry sump engine.   These were good handling bike and were able to hit 80+ mph (period magazine tests).   This bike was originally black frame and red tank and fenders.   The paint was faded badly and I chose to repaint it a bright color.   The chrome is in good condition. no rust.   The number match.   The bike is not 100% original. the exhaust silencer was from another BSA B25  trials bike (chrome plated) and the electrical regulator is a solid state unit.   The speedometer is a replacement n. o. s. (but for an Royal Enfield).   The mileage is correct and it is 1. 36 miles.   The headlight trim ring is the original and has a small dent.   Other than that. the rest is from the factory.   If you have a rating of less than 5 positive feed backs. please contact me you place a bid.
