Here is a sound basis for a fun rebuild of a 600cc Matchless twin.

My idea would be to rebuild this bike in the style of a 1958 G11CSR - a very pretty machine indeed!

Generally in poor cosmetic condition but the bike appears to be sound enough mechanically in that the engine turns nicely and sounds ok when kicked over.

The gearbox goes through gears OK. The mag has a spark.

The mudguards are new alloy ones of the correct type for the CSR.

The bike comes with V5C log book. registration 232UYH (cannot be transferred to another vehicle). It is registered as Historic Vehicle Class (free to tax!)

Frame number is A44512

Engine number is 59/20 51805

All good fins on engine which clearly has 7 fin 600cc barrels.

Side & centre stands are fitted. the centre stand will need some attention.
