Description

                 1969 BSA 441 Victor Special!

Own a piece of motorcycle history!

This BSA B44VS model is likely “The Most Recognized Paint Scheme” in all of motorcycling! Everybody recognizes a 441Victor Special!

You won’t get many chances to own a RESTORED version of this bike; especially one as complete and correct as THIS one.

Recent auction examples have been as high as $12. 00. This bike is “Affordable”!

This bike was a very complete and original piece when I got it. My intent was to build a beautifully “Restored” bike that could actually be ridden by its owner. This bike will get you to the shows and back. and likely win you a trophy while you are there!

I have photo documentation of the bike as I purchased it. and now as finished. All black chassis parts are powder coated for beauty and durability. the tank has been polished and painted. oil tank and tool box covers are painted. fork legs are painted. The original. low-mileage engine was run prior to the restoration. It was in excellent condition. and I did not split the center cases. The transmission was rebuilt using a new spline for the shifter. Worn parts. including seals and gaskets were replaced. I replaced the handlebars. the grab rail. and the control levers. etc. The original hardware was stripped and replated with zinc. or replaced as needed with original CEI british hardware. Certain chromed parts were replated to better than new condition. including the decompression control. muffler guard. brake shoe lever. kick lever. and other small items. This Victor also has a perfect skid plate. and original chain guard. No parts are missing. and the bike is completely operable. Even A battery tender cord is attached so you can keep the battery charged!

Some original condition parts were retained. such as the exhaust. the spokes. the rims. the cables. and the near-perfect seat! These parts are in excellent shape. although not “new”. The replacement seat covers available are not correct in color or texture. And a replacement exhaust would simply discolor as soon as the bike was ridden! Easy things to change if you want to win a concours!

I have a bunch of photos. If there is something you need to see. just ask!

I have been a certified master technician now for 40 years. Restoring classic bikes is my hobby. I have earned many trophies. earned high points in concours judging. and have sold my bikes at near record. or record high prices at auction. I do fine work. and it shows. You will be proud to own this motorcycle!

This bike has a “Box A” clear Arizona title. Miles are accurate. The bike is available for viewing by appointment.

I reserve the right to end this auction early. as the bike is for sale locally.
