1958 BSA A10 SUPER ROCKET *LOW MILES*

I purchased this fine classic last year from an 83 year old gentleman who had owned this bike since 1960 after purchasing it from his friend who bought it new. He used it sparingly over the years and kept it in heated storage over the winter months. He continued to ride this bike up until I purchased it in the summer of 2014. It was difficult for him to let it go. but his health was failing and he could no longer kick start the bike; he knew it was time to past the torch.  The bike is dressed in original BSA period accessories that he said were on the bike when he purchased it. The seat was recovered in the early 70's; the tank and side covers were painted in the original red at this time and he added the megaphone mufflers as well. He loved to tinker with the bike and maintained it to a high standard. He stated that the mileage on the odometer is correct. The odometer and tachometer both work fine and are in original condition.  For many years he thought this bike was a 1957. hence the error on the fender placard. After some research prior to my purchasing the bike it was discovered that it was a very early '58. the 625th built. It is titled as a 1958. The bike runs great. and has never let me down. It starts up easily and turns heads with its classic styling. The tires are in excellent condition. the gas tank is clean. it has excellent compression. drives straight as an arrow down the road. I have owned many BSA's over the years and it is difficult for me to let this one go. I have two British cars. and a boat. That leaves very little time for me to use the bike. so it's time to face reality and pass it on to someone who can enjoy it. Feel free to give me a call/text if you have any questions.
