2009 Buell XB12R Firebolt - showroom condition - never down collector bike

4MZAX03D4933002572009 Buell XB12R. This bike was the end of the road for Buell's handbuilt monsters.  After this. they were pretty much all made by spec and bolted together in Troy. MI.   Some of the parts on this bike are insanely expensive and it lends a lot of credibility to the overall health of the bike as a collector-bound machine.  She is absolutely showroom new. You won't find another one. not like this.  It is basically just as it rolled off the showroom floor 6 years ago.  It has only changed hands one time. and the previous owner was a stickler for maintenance.  In fact. the reason he sold it was because he lost his job and -I quote- "I can't afford to keep the maintenance up on her. so it's time to let her go to a new home. "  That's commitment right there. boys and girls.  1203cc's of raw unedited shredding power.   If you haven't ever ridden one of these through the twisties you really need to.  It just eats up the jap sportbikes like they are standing still.  12K miles. properly maintained. Fresh rubber. Belts. hoses. tires. brakes- everything on this bike runs and works precisely as it should. Never touched the ground. and the front tire was rarely on the ground either. This thing is a beast.  Will consider reasonable offers. But these bikes are getting really. really hard to find in this kind of condition. If it ends up as an asterisk on the *motorcycle hall of fame or it becomes a true collectible is ultimately up to the people who ride them. And since you hardly ever see them up for sale I think it's a pretty safe bet that it's headed toward fame.
