This is a 2014 Buell custom motorcycle that is in excellent condition. It started with a donor 2003 Buell XB9s and a 2006 Redneck Engineering frame and after years of work is what you see here. In the fall of 2014 the project was completed and was inspected by the State Patrol and given a 2014 title. After final assembly testing runs and time on the dyno. it was stored in a warehouse. Special features include a hand fabricated 2 into 1 exhaust (no factory made part existed. so one was made by Hoban Bros). a rear fender with custom made frenched tail light and licence plate. a hand fabricated headlight and turnsignal mount. an additonal motor mount added to the frame for increased strength. and custom "real flame" airbrushed paint job. The list of modifications is extensive! Air cleander and Screaming Eagle muffler were powdercoated black. The frame alone has so many hours of making the welds seamless that I lost count. Custom covers were made near the oil tank to cover unsightly bolts and wires and help give the bike its smooth and aerodynamic look. Additional bracing of the rear fender and mounting points for passenger pegs were added so you can add a seat and allow someone to ride with you- or keep things the way they are and enjoy it all for yourself! Things that were kept basically stock are the engine (with exception of Mikuni carb conversion). front forks and brake system making the bike servicable by your local Harley dealership. The history of this bike started when I drempt of a custom bike during my time in Operation Iraqi Freedom. I bought a used 2003 Buell XB9s when I got home from Suburban Motors Harley Davidson and after it had 3000 miles on it. I took it all apart to make this bike. The technicians at Hoban Brothers helped greatly with mockup. fabrication. iring and final assembly. I attended the local tech college to learn Autobody and learned how to airbrush from seminars with airbrush artist Steve Vandemon. The flames were painted by myself and obviously are not my first attempt at the "real flame" technique. I drew inspiration for this project from the great bike builders such as Indian Larry (the attention to detail on the frame) and Jesse James (proportions and general layout) but in the end. I think I made something unique. Special thanks goes out to everyone at Hoban Bros for insuring that this bike went together perfectly! They are known for working on racing Harleys. but took on this project with me and made sure everything was safe and ran well. This bike was built to be ridden and not be some "trailer queen" bike brought from show to show. If you do ride this to a bike show and end up with a trophy. make sure they ship the trophy to your house. Dont try to hold it and ride- safety first! Speaking of shipping. the buyer is responsible for shipping costs of this motorcycle and there is no warranty that comes with this bike since it is used. Thanks for checking out my bike and good luck with your bidding! -Jason Byerly
