New Page 1 I’ve decided to sell my V7 Sport Moto Guzzi. The bike you see here is probably the lowest mileage. most original of the 200 or so officially imported US specific motorcycles. I have had it for several years and have had my fun with it. I am now in my 70’s and it is time to pass it on. I’m the third owner of this motorcycle. It originally belonged to the owner of Atlas Motorcycles of Tulsa. OK. a Moto Guzzi dealer. He kept it as his personal toy until retiring and closing his business around 2007. It was purchased along with much old stock by two Oklahoma City businessmen. Among the stock they found a new tank and toolboxes in the original Verde Legnano color still in the Moto Guzzi shipping box. The dealer told them he had ordered the parts shortly after getting the bike and kept them just for it. The new owner installed the tinwork and put the bike on display in his small museum on Route 66. Seaba Station in Chandler. OK. In 2010. with his business suffering in the recession. he regretfully put it up for sale. I purchased it. recommissioned it. did some serious cleaning and prep work. and had the starter rebuilt. I did not change any parts other than a new battery and regulator cover. The V7 still rolls on the original Michelin tires. and retains all its original chrome and stainless steel parts in virtually perfect condition. The seat has no cracks or tears. the foam is still good. All the lights work. except for the tiny trouble lamp under the seat. I never bothered with it. This bike runs and rides as good as it looks. although I am very careful of the old tires. At the suggestion of other collectors. I have shown the bike a few times. It is also “Miss May” in the AMCA’s 2015 calendar. I seriously doubt there is a better original V7 Sport in the US. Other than the under seat light. the only known issue is that the fuel petcock seems to work in reverse from the way it’s described in the manual.
