Bultaco Alpina 250 model 212 Rare Bultaco

Up for auction is a 1978? Bultaco Alpina 250. The bike runs good. It sounded very good. It has very low miles of 588miles. I cleaned the carb installed a new carb to airbox and new air filter. I had a small test tank that I started and ran the bike with. I had it running for a few minutes. It sat and idles well and revved up smooth. It shuts off easy and restated with one kick. It is missing the shifter. Maybe it broke or fell off. It does look like from the chain and the rest of the bike that is was a rider. The clutch pull is nice and smooth as is the throttle. The tires are very nice Pirelli’s. The seat is beautiful no rips and the foam is soft. Also has the hard to find chrome grab bar and buddy foot pegs. The fiberglass is in pretty good condition. The paint Job is fair it is shiny but you can see imperfections. I don’t see any leaks in the tank but I would seal it before putting any fuel in it. I purchased the bike as a project that was never finished. The exhaust was off and all the body work was off missing the headlight. So I put it back together as you see it now. It would be a great bike for a full restore or ride as is. Although I would make small improvements to it and leave it as is. I don’t think it would take much to make it a rider. The motor and frame numbers match. Please look at my pictures as they are part of my description.

To my knowledge this is the last of the Alpina’s and was one of the best ones.
