These kind of bikes always amaze me because I always wonder how it made it50 years without getting destroyed! Every bike I had as a kid would get stripped(fenders, ights, etc), pray painted(this was for speed!) and jumped till the bike split in half or the motor blew up....
Bike had a cosmetic make overa whileago. Lots of new NOS parts were used.
I have owned the bike for over 15 years
Last registered in 1972 Oklahoma...I left the registration sticker on the fork leg and clear coated it because I think it looks great. The 1967 license plate goes with the bike butthe bikeisreally a1965.
I put a fresh Battery in the bike and ran it on a IV bottle. Started (Electric start!!)and ran great.
Re-cleaned and polished the Carb, mptied all the oils / fluidsin case the new owner does not want to ride it. I did not put fuel in the tank so itis still dry and clean inside!
Everything works...electric start, eadlight hi/lo, orn and even the blue neutral light and gauge light.
I have always loved these bikes. The bikecan cruise all day 65 mph! With only 305cc I rode a Red one for many years.
