* * * PLEASE NOTE: This Wonderful "1970" 250cc YAMAHA DT1 ENDURO.That still has the Majority of the Original DT-1 Main Components as listed here...& as you can see ..we disassembled cleaned painted & or restored the following details ...Her Original 1970 Gas Tank has "Brand New Custom "Candy Apple RED" style paint" with YAMAHA Re-issue Beautiful "Chrome/Black" YAMAHA Gas Tank Badges + & also her Brand new CANDY APPLE RED Oil Tank style Custom Paint, triping & YAMAHA ENDURO Graphics" & Early style Muffler Chrome heat guar, amp; Her Rebuilt from the Frame Up..Early style Custom Made Pleated style Seat that was Rebuilt From the FRAME UP ! etc etc...Therefore, think .."She is the Very Best of All Worlds" ...As you can see being a 1970 She has the very last year of the "Original Series Style 1968 thru 1970 YAMAHA (ORIGINAL style) Original Early style Rectangular tubing swing arm (not the 1971 to present round tube swing arm style) & also.. She also has the Original Style 1968 thru 1970 Early (ORIGINAL) style steel lower Fork Legs (& Not the 1971 & newer thicker chunkier style fork legs)...Therefore, to my eyes & most other motorcycle Enthusiasts (unless you are some kind of a concourse nit picker or something) ...Most anyone Would Be very Proud to Own this fairly Original "FIRST" Series 250 YAMAHA DT-1 ENDURO ) ! ! ! ! ...( Think about it ...."When was the last time you or most anyone else have actually saw a real deal 1970 YAMAHA 250 ENDURO running right in front of you" ? So YES ! ! I Think that She is Nothing Short of AMAZING ! ....I consider the 1970 DT-1 to be the very last year that really looks like the Original Series 1968-1970 Style Looks & YES ! being a 1970 She ..YES! She Has an ORIGINAL YAMAHA's First Generation DT-1 "FAR MORE COLLECTABLE" FIRST GENERATION "Original Piston Port" induction Style Engine "Which I have been told over the years is "FAR More VINTAGE "AHRMA" RACE-ABLE" ! ! ! ! The NADA Value Guide Price of a 1970 is exactly the same as a 1968, 969 & 1970 .....But, nfortunately in 1972 & newer Enduros the price of the Non original series Yamaha (72 Up ENDUROs) Drops a Lot !!!!!!

Also, he White & Black Suzuki Road Racer at the end of he row next to our VJMC clubs sign (3 bikes to the right of our yellow 250 RM Suzuki)... was one of two bikes of it's Exact type in Existence (a 700ccSquare 4 "Two Stroke" w/ 4 Rotary Valves..Yep !
