1982 KTM 400WR like KTM 390 GS, Husqvarna, Penton, Honda, Bultaco,

RARE 1982 KTM 400 WR/numbers matching with factory fox shocks and orginial spec sheet from KTM

I am not an expert on KTM's but when checking  the Specs for the 400 WR and 390 GS. they are nearly identical in gearing and other factors.

 Bought from a gentlemen in northern Utah who was planning on racing it in some Vintage Deseret racing.   He built a race truck and parked this.    That was 7 years ago stored inside. He started it for me and the bike ran great. This bike is extremely similar to the KTM 390 GS they also sold.   Maybe this one didn't come with a spedometer.   Rare 400 WR Modedl.

Manual included.

This KTM came stock with Factory Fox piggy backs. I  have thefox shock manual for that and the shocks themselves seem to be working well.   No fork seal leaks either.   Tires are ok. just old. If you would like to see it running send me your email address or phone number.

The bike starts usually within 3 kicks.   To be truely race ready: clean the brakes. lube the cables. throw on a fresh set of tires.
