I bought this bike to restore and then ride. nbsp;I stripped and rebuilt it but since then have only taken it out once. therefore I'm selling due to lack of use and not having enough storage space for other projects.

Rare machine in very good condition.

Road registered from new. matching frame and engine numbers.

Bikes first MOT certificate from 1978 included in sale. nice piece of history.

 V5 in my name. Currently Taxed. MOT just expired but should be able to get new day time only MOT for it before selling.

Frame. foot rests. brake pedal. various brackets and ancillaries. swing arm. airbox etc. all stripped and powder coated. One piece alloy Tank and Side Panel unit professionally repaired and repainted.  

Advice taken from Sammy Miller and Bultaco UK (In-Motion) before starting the rebuild and all new parts sourced from them.

New parts fitted including:- Electronic ignition system and new Carb' (Mikuni VM26) to make bike start easily and reliably when both hot and cold (originals. if wanted. will be included in sale) Swing arm bushes. Head stock bearings. Fork springs. seals. and tops. Mudguards and stays. All Control cables. Brake. clutch lever and mounts. Throttle tube and housing. Handlebars and grips. Chain and sprockets. Rear shocks Exhaust springs

Bicycle speedo fitted

Good seat. many original 'Bultaco' head bolts re-used. excellent exhaust and back box.

New and unused rubberised headlamp brackets and speedo mount bracket not fitted but will be included.  

Has the some scratches in outer engine cases. to be expected on a 40 year old off road machine. easily fixed if desired. nbsp; it didn't  bother me as I was planning to ride it and they would probably occur again.

Great bike. runs well and pulls like a train.

I'm happy to consider sensible offers but please remember this is a rare machine. I've spent a lot of money on it and while they do turn up for sale now and again they are usually in poor condition and not an original. matching numbers road registered bike.
