Bultaco Pursang 250c.c. Model 68 vintage motocross 1971

 1971 Bultaco Pursang 250c. c. late model 68. Detailed restoration. Engine rebuilt. New Wiseco piston rings and bore. Ed James paint and Caswell tank seal. Shocks and forks rebuilt with new seals. NOS Spanish Pirelli tires. Original airbox. pipe and  fiberglass body parts. Original embossed aluminum rear badge (incredible gift from Duane Anderson. THANKS!) . Mikalor clamps on subfender. Authentic chain-guard. Original Akronts. Authentic Joresa drive chain ( many thanks to Hughes Bultaco of New York!) New seals. bearings. cables. rubber. plastic and fresh plated. embossed Bultaco hardware throughout. 1st place show winner at Classic Cycle Events Irwindale 2014. 1st place Hanford 2014 and 'Best of Show' at  2011 San Luis Obispo Central Coast Classic motorcycle event. It has little scratches. dings. fixes. nicks. cracks etc. appropriate on a bike this old. The bike has been a project over the years. and has been stored in my hair salon the last 5 years in it's own little climate-controlled cubicle. So many great guys helped me with this bike. You know who you are! I couldn't have done it without your help. If you know these bikes. you will notice a number of flaws. The red could be a lighter shade. The frames weren't powder-coated. The silver wasn't that sparkly. The plating is too bright. They didn't come with clear-coat. They didn't come with Wiseco pistons! The seat is nice. but stitching is wrong and foam is too stiff. The bars are Bultaco. but not from a 1971 model 68. The Rear tire is an Italian made Pirelli MT 07 which I am swapping out for a just acquired ( thanks. Scott! ) NOS Spanish Pirelli  4. 00X18. ( hence the images with the rear tire missing!) The sparky caps should be red. I could go on and on. but. hey. it sure is pretty! Add this to your collection. you won't be dissapointed!
