1973 Bultaco Tiron motorcycles – rare consecutive serial numbered pair

In this auction we have a very rare pair of Bultaco Tiron motorcycles from 1973. These bikes were rare to begin with – they were a dealer promotional bike and. typically. a dealer only got one of them if they got any of them at all.  Now. seeing a pair of them with consecutive serial numbers is nearly unheard of since they were never shipped or distributed with any regard to what serial number went out. They were stocked and shipped at random.  Finding them together is really a rare treat.  Some standout details about this pair and their function is that they start and run easily.  See the video here.  Also.  the bike with serial number ending in 427 has new rings and still has a standard bore that's still in good condition.  The clutch in each bike works and they shift as they should (I was able to see them test ridden after they were started). Both motorcycles have the typical patina and blemishes attributed to age. There is some chipping paint and also some superficial rust throughout. Most of the hardware is in good condition and would only need to have new cad plating to be in outstanding shape as you can see in the photos. They are mostly original with some parts replacement (like the plastic fenders shown on one of the bikes). There is a chip in the front hub as shown in photos and that could be easily repaired by someone who is a competent welder. Overall. these bikes are in great running condition for their age and it's going to be next to impossible to find yourself in a position to potentially own two consecutive numbered Tirons in the future. This auction should be for the serious collector of rare. vintage Bultaco motorcycles.

Please note. these bikes are sold with a bill of sale (as they were not sold with titles) and mileage is not exact since they have never had an odometer.
