Description

I have for sale a model 100 ('72-'73 model year) Bultaco 125 Pursang. Very rare . Totally restored to ride/race which I did one time at Unadilla last year. Engine was totally rebuilt by one of the best. Hugh Weaver of Hugh's Bultaco (a still working Bultaco dealer down by Albany). That alone was over $1600. BTW engine and frame are not matching numbers though it is a model 100 engine in a model 100 frame. Frame was sandblasted and painted with gloss black epoxy paint by an auto collision/paint shop. Every bearing or bushing was replaced with new or cleaned and greased. Rebuilt forks. New cables and controls. Correct Amal carb. Newer style shoulderless rims. New Rebel Gears CNC made aluminum rear sprocket. New Renthal chain. New seat foam and cover. New fenders and side plates from Hugh's. New Circle F exhaust. Rebuilt FEMSA electronic ignition. This is an older right side shift. left side brake model Bul. I built this to ride and or race not as a museum piece so function came before originality. Probably no more than 3 hours running time on it. This Bul starts. runs. and rides as it should. needs nothing. No title just bill of sale if requested.

If paid for by cashier's check owner tranfer will take place after check has cleared and deposited in my account.  I will notify buyer when motorcycle can be picked up.

Buyer responsible for shipping. will not crate. U-Ship is easiest and cheapest. For sale locally so I reserve the right to end auction early if required.

As some of you may remember I have had this Bul for sale on E-Bay before obviously with no luck. I did have lots of interest and a few offers on it . one for not even half  my advertised price.   I built this particular bike entirely from E-bay. every nut. bolt. and bearing and i know from experience you CAN NOT build a better or even a usable one for much less. Also keep in mind these 125 Pursangs are getting very rare due to the greedy parts buzzards out there that buy these historic machines only to strip every last nut and bolt off them to sell each and every item one at a time at some rediculous price only to line their pockets or you also have the people that buy the rare restoration parts only to make some kind of woodchuck Astro out of it.   Running. ridable 125 Pursangs are very difficult to find. more so than Astros.   If you are thinking of buying a 125 racer Bul. this will be the last time i advertise this one. It will run the  alotted time on here then gone forever. I'll keep it. not giving it away.
