The 1957 Maico, ne of the first Scramblers setting the stage for Motocross, his bike has the oval down tube making it the "real deal". I purchased the bike from the grandson of the original owner. The bike was shipped to the US as a racing scrambler but it didn't sell at the dealership. The dealer then put lights on it to help sell the bike. The spare bike, photo next to the Ducati) has the proper upper fork brace designed for the original front number plate and the extra engine will be invaluable for parts. This auction is for 2 bikes. I started the restoration and pulled the engine and pipe off the frame and it is still in a crate ready to ship to my engine builder.
