You are bidding on a 2009 Can Am Spyder GS with the manual transmission. If you have done much reading on these I am sure you have learned to stay away from the semi-automatic transmissions as they had many issues. This bike currently has 8417 miles and has had 3 owners. The bike came out of IL originally when sold new. It was then purchased by a couple in Northern KY in 2012 when the machine had 3848 miles. I purchased it recently from them as they were updating to a 2015 touring model for more comfort.
This bike has been very well taken care of! When new it was loaded with a HUGE options package. That included the very rare andbeautifulchrome wheels and chrome swingarms. You will not see many with these as they were a very expensive factory option but really make the bike stand out the way it does. The first owner also bought the passenger backrest and touring windshield at time of purchase. Again a couple expensive add-ons but a must if you plan on riding it any distance. The factory sport windshield and backrest area cover is included as well.
This bike has beenmaintainedto exact Can Amrecommendations. In April of this year all fluids were changed, new rear tire and rear brake pads were installed and it wen through a complete certified inspection. The bike runs great! I rode it home over 150 miles the night we purchased it at 11pm. Cosmetically the bike is in greatconditionespeciallyfor a machine that is 6 years old. Someone will get many more years of enjoyment out of this bike with just preforming regularmaintenance. The only flaw I can see is a small tear in seat smaller than the size of a dime that is pictured.
