1979 Can-Am 250 MX5 MX-5 MX Motocross AHRMA Two Stroke Motorcycle

Up for bid is a original 1979 Can-Am MX5 250 Motocross bike project. Built inJanuary of 1979. Frame number # 8964000406. Engine Number # 113702. No paperwork, or off road use only. The bike has been sitting since the late 1980's. From being stored in a damp garage for years the motor seized. It does shift through the gears. Both front and rear brakes work. Clutch feels good. The Petcock on the bottom of the gas tank looks repaired, ee picture. Looks to bemostly there except for hand grips and a chain. As For thecondition goes, t was most likely raced back in the 1980's so expecttypical MX wear. Frame and some parts do have rust so see pictures. Looks to be all original except for S&W rear shocks. Seat Has some rips on the sides. Wheels have no dents. Bike looks very Straight. Would make a nice restoration project. Please see pictures. Please email If you have questions. Sold as is.
