1982 CAN-AM CMT310 MK1 TRIALS. HIRO "SAMMY MILLER"
True time capsule!
I purchased this bike from the original owner who won it on a raffle ticket in 1983 at a local motorcycle shop. He had no interest in motorcycles so he rode it around his property a few times and parked it.
100% original right down to the Pirelli tires (VERY low usage but dry)
431 miles on original odometer.
Betor rear shocks, assel bars, kront gold wheels, arzocchi forks and Amal 27 carb.
Only missing the CEV taillight lens and the front brake cable.
I aired the tires up, iled the chain and rolled it out of the original owners barn and here it has been since.
I was told that he last kicked it over 7 years ago.
It is currently stuck. However I am soaking it and if it does kick over before the auction ends I will update the ad.
6 speed transmission seems to work great in-and-out of gear.
All the body work looks good, o damage I have found.
I am not well versed in vintage trials or HIRO motors so I would like to see someone take this bike and restore it properly.
I do know these are pretty scarce and from what I have read, 00 were built but not sure how many made it to the US market.
That's about it. SOld on Indiana Bill of Sale (Never titled).
