2013 Can am RSS - SE5 semi automaticThis Can am is NOT to be confused with 2012 or earlier RSS models, here is a substantial difference in performance and safety. New for 2013 models arefeatures like 15 inch wheels, OX shocks,Brembo brakes paired with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS). For safety you have traction Control, ynamic Power Steering and Stability Control System. LED lights on front fenders. all these features are NOT on 2012 or earlier RSS models. Thesuspensionalone is a huge difference!
Price for 2013 models MSRP increased about $3,500 for good reason. TheMSRP for this model was $ 18,499.
the SE5 semi-automatic transmission worksflawlessly, on't make a mistake and get the manual transmission, his SE5 shitfs fast,preciseand no manual clutchnecessary. I avenumerousbikes and iappreciatea manual clutch like any other bike junkie but this is one where acentrifugalclutch is wanted and needed. there is plenty of interaction going on.This bike has always been very well taken care of. I'm a bit of a perfectionist with toys. Always garaged, ith proper oil change intervals. New rear tire 500 miles ago, ront tires in good condition. The bike looks and rides like new condition. Not ascratch, ent or imperfection that my eye can see. This is a no excuse bike.I have spent ($2,000) in well appointed extra's; Dual two Brothers Carbon exhaust which gives the perfect exhaust tone,aggressivebut not too loud ($1,250).. also included, Can am removable one piece carbon black backrest with latest ergonomics, ider, igher providingmorelateral support. Mounts with one Allen bolt takes 2 minutes to put on / take off when removed there is a cover plate which hides the mounting holes unlike the previous model backrest which needed the permanent big ugly bracket on the back..($750.00) people often waste money with carbon this and that, n my opinion, lossy Carbon components makes it look cheap andostentatious.Yes, here are other RSS cheaper they are either 2012 or earlier models (big mistake) or if 2013 or newer, nferior condition, igher mileage without the extras..Let's be very clear about a few things, have sold many expensive toys on Ebay, ummer H1's, orsches, obra's without a single issue.
