Description

Ok Folks, .6 miles! This is my second entry in the liquidation process of some of my toys. You read it right....3.6 miles on this 2012 Can Am Spyder RS-S SE5 Automatic. All I can call it is Brand New....Used? Well it was not used. I bought this for my wife and she never rode it. The actual miles were a mile or so at the dealership and around the block in my neighborhood. It's been in my garage pretty much since day 1 always. There's a pretty interesting storyline that goes with it and why we never used it but it don't matter here. Feel free to call me with any questions @ 601-466-4790.

Storyline that matters & Care Taken - 2012 Can Am in a Time Capsule. I kept the the gas tank virtually empty the entire time it has been in the garage and I use Sta-Bil Gas Storage in 93 Octane Premium in small amounts to avoid keeping the tank full and just sitting. Additionally I add about 1 oz. Lucas Upper cylinder lubricant for the fuel injection every so many intervals. I believe in this stuff and use it in all my toys (including my Porsche). I cranked it about once a month on the average to operating temperature but when it was washed, just rolled it outside. It runs fine and starts right up. Please note, f it sells the buyer will need to follow the break-in period. This unit is purely original from showroom. Like I said 2012 in a time capsule.
One Cosmetic issue front nose - See photo toward end of photo roll. Just below the front trunk where the nose has a V and on the top edge there is a small strip of the Orange coating rubbed off. The tie-down straps on the trip home with the Can Am from the dealer (and they loaded it) loosened and it rolled forward and the V-nose was under the front trailer rail when I got home with it. It is plastic and did not deform it or bend it. it just rubbed the top edge of the V-Nose. I don't see it as anything major and the nose can be replaced but being paint I thought it could be repaired. I just never did anything with it. Anyway, probably made a bigger deal out of it than it is.
Obviously I have looked around at NADA Value and I went online and did some searches of these for sale and what ebay has going. I'm inline for a private seller. So why get one with miles on it when you can Brand New....Used? If your looking for one of these, ou can't go wrong with this one. I have many more photos and can send them to you. I just replaced the factory battery because it was time though the factory battery still cranked it but I had the voltage checked and it was less than desirable. I have the receipt and box because the new battery has a warranty.
