ccm 604 spares repair

 1998 ccm 604. i bought this around a year ago and it was described as rebuilt. he nugget was lying so here is what i found and what has been done. ts a 1998 ccm 604 and i have the logbook in my name  plus the engine number is matching. it has been loosely assembled for pics but engine is complete and bolted in. it started and pulled like a train when i bought it although a tad too much smoke for my liking so i rebuilt top end. ncluding new oil rings and valve stem seals and cam belt. it has not yet been started as needs wiring sorting . the rear swing arm has had new bushes fitted. he front steering tapered bearings are new. the frame and subframe have been powdercoated in gloss black. he original rear wheel was shot so i bought a talon jobby with gold hub the front is off a husky wr 250 and needs spacers and speedo drive. was going to use an electronic speedo and put a spacer in place of miising speedo drive. i . the tyres are brand new maxis road legal enduro. . it will need a speedo as the old one wasnt original and knackered. the loom is present but needs finishing as wires need extending  also needs a new lights on/off switch (team philippe e bay £25. have marked what wires are what. or example the starter was a on/ off switch under the seat!this needs extending and the new starter switch fitting(supplied)forks look ok although with a bit of mild hammer rash by previous numpty. eat is fitted with fantastic leather yellow and black cover . xpensive!new mini mudguard on front . ront callipers need sorting i have about 3 brembo callipers to go with bike. ide panels are good. tank is very good. . he grey belt covers have been powder coated. exhaust is ok i have a silencer. the front light and rear light are after market parts. ear wp shock is oiltight and spring has been powder coated. this is a project and will take time to finish but it has potential or donor bike/engine for your 604. dont expect all genuine as some parts are aftermarket parts. heers mark
