Armstrong CCM Scrambler, Sand Racer, 598cc, CCM Bottom End

Welcome to my advert for my Armstrong 598cc Scrambler / Sand Racer.

Well where should I start really? :)

The bike is an Armstrong MT500 with modifications

The engine is a CCM bottom end from a CCM motorcross bike and a Rotax head which has been bored out professionally and re-sleeved to 598cc.

I then fitted a high compression Wiseco piston matching the barrel with 1/13th ring end gap.

All new gaskets.

Valves re-ground and clearances set up.

New timing belt.

New oil and micro filters.

The wheels have been professionally rebuilt by Five One Wheels (spokes. hubs. bearings) and have a new Bridgestone M50 Spikey front and a new Michelin S12 rear tyre fitted.

Custom made 2-1 stainless megaphone exhaust system - no rust or holes. very loud !

Rear shocks are aftermarket Falcon Classics and are better than Hagon shocks

Venhill throttle and cable

Dell'orto 40mm PHB pumper carb fitted

Renthal bars and a high quality lanyard cut out switch wired straight to the ignition coil

Swinging foot rest

Original 38mm Marzocchi front forks. the chrome is absolutely mint

Original seat. tank and plastics

There are no brakes fitted as I have used at at Mablethorpe beach as a sand racer but I do have the front drum brake which is included in the sale

No front number board fitted either as that is my number ! :)
