Description

This auction is for3 cushman scooters at a $1.00 start price and NO RESERVE.

Before I start the description let me say that I am no expert. I did not restore them. The information provided to me about them was from the previous owners son. I will do my best in describing. The description and pictures are straight forward.

Please be realistic. If you have concerns please make arrangements to view in person. If that is not feasible for you to do consider sending someone or looking on the web for someone qualified to do an unbiasedinspection for you. I have made no attempt to start them or get them running. They will need fresh fuel plus or minus. These were displayed in a garage after they were restored and rode sparingly. They were all operational. The previous owner/builder/caretaker passed away. They are being listed for sale as a lot to the highest bidder. I am not interested in splitting them up. When making an inquiry about what I am asking for them it is an auction. I will reserve the right to end the sale if youhave an offer otherwise bid to own.

These machines do not have titles. I had to post clear for the ad.It is the way the collection was obtained and how it is being sold. Many states do not require paperwork. Do your diligence. You will be buying as is and as seen in the following pics. Nothing more nothing less. If this is an issue to you do not bid. The previous owner restored them his way for his enjoyment and road them in public andanywhere he wanted.

The machines were restored during a period ofOne to Fiveyears agoand have not been run forat least ayear. The last four months were moved to the sons location on his patio. Some of the brightwork exhaust etc. accumulated surface rust here and there. The motors all turn over. Consider them to need a wake up fresh fuel/fluids touch up clean updetailing etc. The motors are all new meaning rebuilt/overhauled. The son stated his father had nearly $600. each in the motors. It is noted that he used upgraded Makunicarburators although I have the originals. The machines were prepaired and painted. The tires were new at that point. There are some extraparts and literature included buthas not been inventoried. I believe theremay beadditional parts not pictured. That will go as well.I was given a pile of keys and will need to sort those out to each machine.

I'll start with the Teal and WhiteThree Wheeled Truckster. This is an original Postal unit called a Mail Car.This was dissassembled and painted and looks great. This would make an awesome ICEcream or FOOD vendorvehicle. Other uses would be nice to haul and deliver parts at a swapmeet. Or be the security on your block watch. If you have a business perfect to incorporate into what you do. Parked out front = free advertising. If you have a use you can adapt it to you. This has a new motor and tires and brakes lines etc. Plenty of storage in the rear cargo area. There is storage behind the drivers seat as well and acts as the "hood" in which to service the motor. Very neat.

The Yellow CushmanTrailster like the Mail Car was completely restored. It has the two speed trans which is correct. The motor is new as is the carb tires etc. This would be considered an urban scooter today much like a Honda Ruckus.

The third Cushman is either a Turtleback or Roadking or? This is the machine the previous owner liked the best. It is a rolling piece of Folk Art. He would scour scrap yards or recycling centers and find things that appealed to him that he could incorporate on this rolling work of art. This is the neatest most unusual. I have had the aircleaners covered in plastic and removed the aircleaner. It like the others has had a mechanical restoration.

The three machines are being sold as is and as seen. Inspections need to be done by appointment BEFORE sale ends. The scootersare not mint and may or may not need restored depending on your needs or tastes. I have honestly described and relayed information by the previous owner. I will not be held accountable or liable for any incorrect information or damage. I am unsure of the exact years of these machines. I reserve the right to end the auction early.

If you have little or no feedback please email your intent before placing a bid. I have a right to cancel your bid.

I accept Paypal for deposits NOT on full price. The deposit will be $1000. If selling price is less the deposit will be half of winning bid.Iwill need ballance ofpayment sent overnight or via bank wire next day.I would like these picked up within three weeks. I realize shipping arrangements take time. I will work with you on pickup. If this is an issue please let me know. I may have some shippers available please inquire. If you are outside the US I welcome your bid and will work with your shipper. Thanks for looking and Good Luck!
