1959 Montgomery Ward Riverside Motor Scooter "Pigeon"

Up for sale today is a scooter you don't see very often let alone for sale. I think this is a 1959 model. This is not a Cushman This is a Montgomery Ward Riverside "pigeon". The serial # is 95X03131 Model # 14014A Engine # 03726. I don't know a lot about this scooter. The engine turns over with no noises and has very little compression I think it has a valve stuck open from what I can see through the plug hole. The gas tank looks fairly clean. Engine is dusty and needs a good cleaning as does the whole scooter The clutch turns freely but I know it needs to be taken apart and cleaned as does the whole scooter. The body part of the scooter seams to be in fair shape with some surface rust. Scooter needs a seat pad and the rack on rear is missing. Look at the pictures as they are a large part of description.
